Position Description:

The Laboratory Information System (MEDITECH) Analyst is responsible for routine MEDITECH LIS applications management, support and system related troubleshooting. Responsibilities include database definitions, system testing, documentation, procedure manual development, staff training, interface/integration support, and routine system monitoring. Will participate in day to day issues management, help research problems or issues and appropriately escalate strategic or critical issues in accordance with organizational processes as needed.
This position works with department(s) to provide support; minimizes changes and as needed/approved will coordinate change requirements (e.g. change control, testing, training, etc.) according to established procedures to minimize adverse impact to business operations and the users of services. This position also requires significant customer interaction and ongoing communication with leadership in order to provide support, analysis and responses to customers within stringent time frames. Will deliver effective communication and advisory support on application-related needs.
