Description:
Responsible for operationally excellent management of Linux/Unix systems and SAN infrastructure required to keep eBay web properties running in a 24x7x52 environment. Plans, installs, tests, and maintains systems and storage arrays. Required to contribute to the selection, design, and implementation of hardware, Operating Systems, and technical solutions to solve business problems. Includes maintaining and improving on eBay strict technical standards as it relates to performance and availability. Ability to serve as a technical lead for project implementation, drive technical site escalations to conclusion and provide a leadership example to junior staff members.
