Systems Administrator

Cartrack USA, a subsidiary of Cartrack Holdings, has just opened its doors in the US. Cartrack provides fleet, mobile asset and workforce management solutions. We are a global company with over $200 million in market capitalization expanding in the US market. We are a fast growing Telematics (Selling to Fleets and people who have trucks) company looking for full time motivated, sales driven individuals.

What you would do in the role:

This position will be responsible for the activation, testing, packaging, and shipping (and installation oversight) of our GPS devices to meet aggressive installation deadlines in a fast paced environment.

• Receive and ship GPS units, accessories, components and maintain and update inventory in MS excel and corporate CRM.
• Activate SIM cards and install into our GPS units
• Responsible for the management and oversight of our network of installers in the US
• Prepare Vehicle Inspection/Identification Sheets.
• Help colleagues with more basic IT needs.
• Carrying out routine configuration and installation of IT solutions.
• Maintaining the company’s IT network, servers and security systems
• Setting up new users and managing backup, security and passwords.
• You’re also the company’s internet police, monitoring internet and email use

Required skills :

The attributes an employer would look for are:

• Strong communication skills

• A good working knowledge of IT operating systems, particularly Windows

• Hands on experience of installing IT hardware and software

• Strong computer skills with good proficiency for Office software products such as Excel and Word.

• Good manual dexterity. Ability to work with small hand tools i.e. screwdrivers
