System Administrator II (Unix/Linux)

Systems Administrator II administers and configures application server clusters and web servers, as well as setting up server securities. The candidate is also required to investigate, report and document exceptions for development teams. Bachelor¿s Degree and 3 or more years experience are required.

24×7 on-call support on a team rotating schedule as required.

Ability to troubleshoot and isolate moderate to complex system/application issues for LINUX/UNIX based operating systems and hardware

Familiar with installation, (Kickstart/Jumpstart) and operational support of Enterprise class computing platforms, both physical and virtual.

Propose and implement system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the systems assigned

Knowledge in writing automation scripting for maintaining the health of servers and processes to meet availability goals.

Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects.

Position cannot work remotely.
