Job Summary

POSITION SUMMARY

The Supply & Operations Leadership Development Program (SOLD Program) is an accelerated program for recent college graduates with proven ability to excel in today’s fast-paced world. The program will provide graduates who wish to pursue a career in Supply Chain or Operations Management the opportunity to gain exposure in the various aspects of Supply Chain and Operations within a global manufacturing organization. The SOLD Program is designed to develop high caliber individuals into future leaders who will be driven by our purpose and led by our vision. The SOLD Program will build on participant’s skills by providing exposure to experienced Pentair professionals through various manufacturing and service center locations.

The SOLD Program is a three year program consisting of three, 12 month rotations within two+ locations. Participants will be rotating through several different facets of the supply and operation functions based on business needs and individual career aspirations. Geographic flexibility is required both during and upon completion of the program.

Rotation Examples include:

  • Lean Manufacturing
  • Group Lead /Production Supervision
  • Supply Analytics
  • Category Management

Successful program participants will have many opportunities to accelerate their career growth. Graduates of SOLDP are developed as the talent pipeline for many roles including but not limited to:

  • Supply Chain Leader
  • Materials Leader
  • Lean Leader
  • Quality Leader
  • Operations Leader
  • Logistics Leader
  • Production Leader

Job Requirements & Skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Operations Management from an accredited university
  • Previous internship, co-op, and/or industry work experience is required
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Strong desire and motivation to develop a career as a future leader in Supply Chain
  • Desire to grow within Pentair’s Supply Chain and Manufacturing organization upholding the Win Right values
  • Strong leadership and teambuilding skills
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to multitask and problem solve
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels and functions within the organization
  • Willingness to learn and work independently
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Flexibility, organization, and poise under time constraints and deadlines
