Supply Chain Systems Solutions Consultant, Hardware Business Systems

Google’s projects, like our users, span the globe and require managers to keep the big picture in focus. As a Systems Solutions Consultant at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it’s your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project’s progress and deadlines.

The Systems Solutions Consultant is responsible for managing Supply Chain Systems and Enterprise Integration projects supporting our operations and performs the following roles: onboarding new Manufacturing, Logistics, Retail partners and maintaining partner relationships. You will manage error resolution and functional failure/remediation of production issues on systems. You will also ensure that procedures are maintained and properly executed, including development and change requests. You will act as a liaison between end-users and the technology staff implementing EDI and supply chain applications. You will interact with customer support teams, operations and sales teams to support Google’s Retail vision and to make Google hardware products successful. You will be on the front lines as our Hardware business evolves and as new products are launched, making sure we can seamlessly react to any changes. Responsibilities

Help partners and stakeholders resolve day-to-day challenges by delivering innovative and scalable solutions.

Implement Sales Reporting and Ingestion across our Data Warehouse and Analytic Systems.

Ensure the prompt and proper resolution of any technical challenges, and support partners and end-users on technical integration issues.

Advocate new product features and assist Retail partners and stakeholders in the adoption of new products via upgrades and migrations to help them build long-term success.

Design and develop automation tools to ingest data and perform analytics.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.

Front-end retail and back-end supply chain experience with an OEM or as a consultant serving OEMs.

Experience with ERP Applications like Oracle and SAP, and Enterprise Integration Tools like WebMethods, Ariba and SOA.

Preferred qualifications:
3 years of relevant work experience.

EDI Implementation experience on X12 transactions like 810, 850, 855, 856 , 852, 846 and 830 and EDIFACT equivalents.

Supply Chain Management Domain Experience

Working knowledge of PL/SQL. Ability to query/retrieve data and perform analytics to debug data issues, inconsistencies between EDI/ERP Transactions and Reporting Database transactions.

Excellent written and oral business communication skills
