Job description

The Order Coordinator will be responsible for the warehouse operation (SkylogistiX) in Seattle, to include coordinate inbound delivery of material, book outbound transportation on our preferred transportation providers to catering kitchens throughout the US and Central America. Also he/she will review station inventory reports, review and approve station requisitions. Ensure open lines of communications with kitchens, airline staff and all internal and external customers. Become proficient in the Warehouse Management System and Skylog. He/she will be the primary point of contact in the Supply Chain.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Manage the entire in-flight equipment supply chain from materials arrival in the warehouse, review and approve submitted station inventory counts and requisitions to 50 outstations of approximately 300 SKU’s

Forecast, plan, and ensure the worldwide on-time delivery of Airline Equipment

Identify and verify products consumptions and analyze usage trends

Coordinate, check and control all material flow, stock levels and consumption at the kitchen level

Minimize the stock levels in the outstations while reducing their need for emergency shipments

Review scheduled inventory stock counts from the outstations, query unexpected counts figures

Review and process monthly, weekly and daily orders received from the outstations

Coordinate RMA’s (Returns) of surplus equipment at the kitchen level and either redistribute through the network of return to the warehouse

Maintain the system ( Skylog ) with all relevant master data and correct set-up as required

Track the shipments and update the system accordingly

Operational management of the freight forwarders to ensure successful deliveries

Interact directly with the warehouse staff to provide instructions for regular operations and assistance with problem resolution

Upload CSV files in Skylog to ensure accurate station

On receipt of inbound Purchase Orders, accurately book into the Warehouse Management System

Perform any special projects or requests as assigned requisitions

Bill of Material.

Loading and Flight schedules.

Create and maintain all information relating to forecasting usage for United Airlines International wine program.

Initiate Purchase Orders to cover the specific cycle changes for the cycle wines.

Produce KPI reports, weekly reports and Ad-Hoc reports as required.

Liaison with specific departments for any software issues, inventory discrepancies and pertinent failed EDI’s

Your skills and experience

Three to Five years account management and warehouse operations experience

Work experience in material planning, order management and airline business preferred

Practical application of best industry supply chain standards, processes, transportation and warehouse operations

Proficient Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and CSV file processing along with a Warehouse Management System and Equipment Management System

Ability to work with minimum supervision as well as a team environment and with the customer in a positive, proactive approach

Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast paced and at times stressful situations and environment

Be proactive and be able to prioritize internal and external requests

Ability to multi-task and solve problems in a fast-paced environment

Exceptional analytical skills for evaluating data

Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
