Supply Chain Associate

BEKO Technologies Corp is a manufacturer of all the ancillary components and system solutions associated with compressed air and gas and we are looking for a Supply Chain Associate for the Supply Chain Team. BEKO supply chain serves our internal customers, including customer service, production, technical support and sales and provide support to the growth that BEKO has been experiencing.

The Supply Chain Associate will purchase materials and maintenance items that have established processes and approved prices and sources. This position will also support transportation related matters such as freight bill auditing and freight booking. Other duties include documenting, office supplies and sourcing.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

• Purchase products and services based on approved purchasing requisitions from internal customers
• Support Customer Service by coordinating product delivery schedules according to customer requirements and by providing accurate feedback in terms of vendor delivery dates and/or concerns.
• Maintain system accuracy and integrity by updating delivery dates, purchase prices, lead-times, vendor part numbers, etc.
• Audit freight bills, follow up with discrepancy and claim.
• Organize and maintain both hard copy and electronic documentation when necessary to support order fulfillment, distribution means, pricing, and contractual obligations.
• Assist in sourcing material or finished products

Job Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to use ERP systems as well as MS Outlook, MS Word, & MS Excel.
• Experience in SAP preferred, but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• General knowledge and experience in customer orders, production, shipping, receiving, and warehousing functions.

Education and Experience:

• Associates Degree or 2+ years of equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a material planning and/or purchasing roles.

Physical Requirements:

• Communicate in both written and verbal form.
• Ability to sit at a desk and work at a computer workstation per 8 hour work day.
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, stoop and/or kneel
