**JOB SUMMARY**

Sanford Health Internship Program aims to provide our interns with challenging, real-world projects specific to their career path. An Information Technology Intern will contribute to Sanford operations and processes while obtaining first-hand experience that align with the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**

The Information Technology Department is seeking an intern to support with implementation of new IT equipment. The intern will need strong organization and communication skills to accommodate our customer’s technical needs. The intern will work in the Medical Center Information Technology department with our Personal System Technicians. Responsible for the configuration of computer equipment, installation of hardware, equipment moves, day to day user support, and inventory of IT equipment. Prepare documentation pertaining to systems operation and develops end user guidelines.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

Junior or Senior Level student pursuing a degree in Information Technology. Must have good human relations and communications skills; must be able to follow procedures and instructions given by the leadership staff. Must have strong problem solving, leadership, and analytical skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
