Student Success Coach

The Student Success Coach:

We have thousands of students engaging with our program each year, and we need someone to support these students and make sure they are being engaged in the best ways possible.

The Student Success Coach knows how to engage students throughout the program to ensure students are actively developing the skills we teach them and are pursing relevant opportunities.

You will be responsible for the student as soon as they begin the program, from the conference experience to the six month support. You will be contributing to every process concerning the student’s success – the workshops, the support services’ engagement, the follow-ups, the internship program, the mentor connections, etc.

Your unique goal within the larger Student Success team will be to create digital content to support our students, as well as allow access to students who are not able to attend in-person programming.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching Conferences (2-3x/month on a Saturday or Sunday)
• Conducting 20 minute, virtual one-on-one coaching sessions with students (10-20/week)
• Creating digital curriculum, videos and tutorials
• Brainstorming and implementing ways to support students who cannot attend in-person programming

Requirements:

• Experience working with students of all backgrounds
• Experience with creating digital content, tutorials and curriculum
• Results-oriented (enjoys numbers and metrics to drive results) and experience with basic web tools (task management, CRMs)
• Strong public speaker and enthusiastic about working with students
• Works well with a team
• Excellent time management and email management
• Ability to work in a remote environment
• Has a valid drivers license and car (This role may require driving out to schools for student/partner support 1x/month)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40,000.00 to $55,000.00 /year
