Structural Options Specialist (Data Entry)

Structural Options Specialists – Foundations Team

Responsible for receiving, auditing, and processing incoming product catalog data, quantity requirements, labor rates, maintaining records and compiling reports. Gather necessary product specifications and internal data to develop accurate and detailed records that support internal pricing system. Organize contract data, blueprint images and information, and configure system to support design center pricing software. Work in conjunction with regional branches, design centers, and other internal teams to ensure requests are completed in a timely manner.

Primary Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Performs accurate and timely entry of catalog products into Home Design Systems.
  • Performs accurate and timely entry of Wall Tile Material Quantities into Home Design Systems.
  • Classify catalog products to ensure appropriate labor rates set using product attributes.
  • Provide analysis and reporting as needed, summarizing results from datasets.
  • Cross-train and support other roles within the home design systems team.
  • Identifies and escalates gaps in company and vendor information to financial data management with appropriate level of urgency. Researches and provides accurate details of any issues.
  • Monitors product catalog entries using system reports and communicates progress to leadership. Proactively communicates to resolve discrepancies in up-front data promoting accurate & timely entry.
  • Monitors and tracks requests to meet material lead times and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Interacts with internal and external teams daily through clear and concise written and oral communication.
  • Audit fellow team member work and provide clear and concise feedback.
  • Refers complex, unusual problems to leadership.
  • Education and Experience

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • A High School Diploma or GED required. Specialized skills training/certification may be required
  • 0-2 years of order entry and customer service experience preferred
  • Experience in a Customer service or call center environment a plus
  • SAP or Service-Now Knowledge a plus
  • Proficient with use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Preferred: Knowledge and experience in flooring industry
