Strategy & Investment Analyst

Responsibilities:
Our client is hiring an experienced Analyst for an immediate start. The role is as a part of the Corporate Strategy and Development department, and responsibilities will include a mix of the following:

Monitor portfolio companies, including reviews of planned projects and guidance for strategic initiatives.

Conduct research on steel and related industry companies: produce reports on current events and provide coverage of quarterly earnings.

Maintain database of steel supply and consumption, pricing, and macro industry drivers.

Assist in the development of diversification and expansion strategy, including evaluation of M&A opportunities.

Respond to ad hoc requests from managers and from corporate headquarters for information on local markets.

Attend information and training sessions provided by staff members, affiliates, partners, and industry experts. Analyst may also attend industry conferences and seminars.

Liaise with corporate headquarters in Seoul to maintain alignment with global strategy.

Requirements:
Ability to manage time effectively to accurately complete tasks with competing deadlines.

Strong interest in corporate finance and strategic analysis.

BA/BS in Finance, Economics, or related.

Expert in Microsoft Office products.

Demonstrate interest in personal development and education.

Openness to different cultures and work environments.

Fluency in Korean is a major plus, but not a requirement.
