The Strategy/Analyst Associate will work alongside VP and GM, and Chief of Staff to focus on developing strategies and data analytics. This is a high visibility role and you will be working with business leaders across the board. If you love numbers and creating stories based on your analysis, and creating outstanding PowerPoint presentations, this is the role for you. This is an ideal role for a strategy consultant with a passion for digital payments and mobile marketing, who wants to join a fast-paced team that will influence the future of Samsung Pay.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with BD, sales, product team, and data science teams to develop and implement strategies to grow business and revenue.
  • Support business teams build finance models and monthly performance reporting to track and monitor performance against key metrics.
  • Produce ad hoc analyses to understand underlying performance drivers Develop business cases and strategic options based on industry insights, internal capabilities, financial models, ROI analysis to support planning initiatives
  • Conduct industry and competitive research including analysis of industry analyst reports and compile results, forecast, and business insights
  • Support business deep dives and ad hoc analysis to help drive impactful initiatives.
  • Heavy analysis, problem solving, and multitasking skills to be able to partner with different stakeholders and make the highest impact possible.
  • Effectively articulate (verbal and written) and frame (PPT) the team’s strategies and performance to internal stakeholders, including senior management

Minimum requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills; experience in data analysis, business modeling and presentation: highly proficient in Excel & PowerPoint
  • Apply analytical thinking around commercial services, including revenue and cost modeling
  • Be a strong storyteller in writing and with concise well thought out presentations.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate the “big picture” and also drill down to supporting details and translate a compelling story onto PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. You must be able to interact with wide cross-functional teams and leaders
