Qualification

  • Matric or equivalent

    • Requirements

  • 2 Years relevant stores experience
  • Forklift drivers licence essential
  • Good people skills

    • Duties

  • Checking of stock received.
  • Controlling the process and movement of stock
  • Stock documentation
  • Controlling of returns and back orders
  • Effective record keeping of documentation
  • Receiving and dispatching of stock
  • Packing and displaying of stock
  • Ensure bin locations are labelled
  • Handling damaged stock
  • Heavily involved in stock taking
  • Good housekeeping – safety and security issues
  • Standards and ethics in stores
  • Stock control management systems
  • Oversees stock in Stores.
  • Receive components into Stores.
  • Ensure components are packed and stored into correct bin locations.
  • Issue components for production.
  • Close off jobs upon completion.
  • Responsible for cycle counts and plays a big role on Stock take.
  • Weekly minimum stock level count on critical items.
  • Swap faulty and damaged components.
  • Write out scrap for authorization.
  • Receive and inspect inbound deliveries.
  • Responsible for the stock in the yard (complete stock).
  • Verifies equipment from sites for repairs and make out RGV.
  • Responsible for loading trucks, inspecting and verifying products and quantities.
  • Receive valves into Stores.
  • Ensure stock is labeled correctly on shelves.
  • Receive factory inbound deliveries.
  • Monitoring solid bins.
  • Submit complete job cards to Finance for processing.
