Our Store Management Trainee program provides a solid foundation for you to build your future. Throughout the program, we will train, mentor and develop your skills to a point where you can build your own career path with unlimited potential and opportunities.

As a PPG Store Management Trainee, you will launch your career in one of our PPG retail paint stores where you will complete our six-month training program. You will receive training in all aspects of store management, including paint and associated products, professional sales and marketing, credit and account receivable management, profit and loss and human resource management. The program includes:

Working one-on-one with an experienced store manager to learn how to manage day-to-day operations;

Hands-on, classroom and self-paced training;

Tho

rough orientation to the Architectural Coatings business and the leadership team

Upon successful completion of the program, you will be placed in a Store Manager role where you will develop, motivate and direct the store team. With the Store Manager role and future development opportunities, you will need to be open to relocation to any area throughout the US. With 900+ retail store locations across North America the opportunities are endless.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Business preferred.

In

lieu of Bachelor’s degree will consider Military experience with demonstrated leadership experience

.

Willingness to work all scheduled hours which may include weekends and overtime.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Ability and willing to relocate to any area throughout the US.

Retails sales experience preferred, but not necessary.

Possess Time Management Skills

Possess an aptitude for sales

Financial aptitude

Have an entrepreneurial spirit

Possess leadership skills – coaching, communication, delegation, and presentation skills
