Our Courtyard Boise West/Meridian is currently seeking an experienced Part-Time Steward/Dishwasher to deliver the highest quality of customer service to all guests during the service within outlets. As part of the property team you will help us craft inspired workplaces that enable all Associates to deliver kick-ass guest experiences and maximize investor returns! The Hotel:

Courtyard Boise West/Meridian looks to refresh routines for guests on their visits to Idaho. Our rooms and suites include a microwave, mini- refrigerator, and a coffee maker for your convenience. Guests will find it easy to stay connected, with complimentary wireless Internet available throughout the hotel. After a full day, they can enjoy dinner and cocktails at The Bistro, which also serves hot breakfast and Starbucks® Coffee specialty drinks. Located in Meridian, Idaho, the Courtyard is right between Boise and Nampa off I-84, and offers easy access to downtown Boise and all of Ada and Canyon County. Local businesses near the hotel include HP, Citi, and T- Mobile. Fans of Boise State University can visit the nearby campus and catch a Broncos game. There are also plenty of recreational opportunities on tap, such as Bogus Basin Mountain, Lake Lowell, Lucky Peak, and several whitewater rafting options.

Responsibilities:

Keep all dishes and kitchen supplies clean and stocked

Keep all areas of kitchen clean, including floors, walls, ceilings, shelves, counters, etc

Assist chef and cook with food prep and inventory as requested

Arrange serving dishes, trays, utensils, cups and paper products

Washing serving equipment, china, glass and silver and return to storage after meal hours and functions, as needed.

Ensure all tables are properly cleaned, and dining area is vacuumed.

Welcoming and friendly personality.

Assists department in maintaining safety equipment and emergency procedures for the safety of all guests and employees.

Other duties/responsibilities:

Maintain an inventory of needed supplies; keep all items at par level.

Comply with standards as outlined in the brand’s food sanitation checklist.

Complete daily, weekly, monthly inventory, as needed

Be familiar with hotel facilities and their location and hours.

Education and Experience Required:

Previous food and beverage experience
