Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monthly end close and reporting processes resulting in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements

    • Prepare and post journal entries
    • Prepare account reconciliations
    • Prepare reports for and respond to inquiries from corporate
  • Daily monitoring and accounting for cash activity and bank reconciliations
  • Help to ensure internal controls are in place and effective
  • Prepare and file state and local taxes
  • Maintain and safeguard fixed assets, rental equipment, and demo equipment and other company assets
  • Document, update, and improve accounting policies and procedures as warranted
  • Maintain / update business licensing and permitting, as need be
  • Other miscellaneous tasks assigned


Minimum Skills, Experience, and Knowledge:

  • 2-4 year of operational accounting work experience
  • Excellent excel skills (e.g., pivot table mastery)
  • Hands on experience with financial/accounting software


Preferred Skills, Experience, Knowledge and Compentencies

  • Experience in small to medium size company, ideally in the office equipment industry
  • Experience with e-Automate
  • College degree preferred
