Staff Accountant

One Grounds Management is seeking an organized, passionate, and driven Staff Accountant to join our growing team. The Staff Accountant position will work closely with our other accountant and operations personnel.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Support appropriate functions in establishing and maintaining cost accounting processes and controls.

Complete balance sheet reconciliations of assigned accounts monthly.

Perform financial closing activities including journal entries, analysis and reporting.

Maintain fixed asset records.

Assists in the analysis of operating performance versus financial plans and forecasts.

Develop analysis that supports management decision making process.

Special projects and analyses as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Strong analytical ability to gather and interpret information.

Advanced computer skills in MS Office, specifically word and excel.

Proficient knowledge of QuickBooks

Physical Capabilities:
Work performed in an office

Regularly required to lift 10 pounds

Listen, speak, sit, stand, bend, reach and move about facilities frequently
