Staff Accountant

Located in Aurora, IL, The Luse Companies, a family owned company since 1923, is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual for an entry level position with 0 to 3 years of experience to work as a staff accountant in our accounting department. Primary job duties

Journal Entries

Accounting Analysis and Reconciliation

Assist with month, quarter, and year end close

A/R invoicing

Other duties may include the following

Biweekly payroll

Review and maintain general ledger chart of accounts

Posting of monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals

Monthly job cost analysis

A/R Collections

Requirements

Advanced skills in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook

BS or AS in Accounting or related field

At least 1-3 years of accounting experience

Strong understanding of basic accounting/bookkeeping principles and procedures

Organized and detail oriented with the ability to work independently

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Experience with ADP is a plus!
