Staff Accountant

Alvarado Management Ltd is a dynamic company managing commercial properties, restaurants, Sandia Peak Tramway and Sandia Peak and Santa Fe Ski areas. We are currently looking to fill an open full-time accountant position. Competitive benefits package includes Health, Dental, 401K, PTO and Life Insurance. Salary DOE.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Restaurant accounts payable
• Payroll
• General ledger entries/maintenance
• Financial statement preparation
• Analytics
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accounting position
• Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains experience a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (focus in Excel)
• Restaurant experience a plus

The successful candidate must be eager to learn, be technically competent, organized, analytical, detail oriented and work well within a small office team environment. Good verbal and written communication skills are a must. The position offers room to grown within the organization for the right person.
