• CPA firm or Corporate Accounting/Tax experience
• Proficient in Excel & pivot tables
• Have effective communication skills

Summary:

An asset management firm and family office in Idaho Falls seeks a Staff Accountant to provide various accounting services for multiple related entities. Duties will include financial analysis and reporting, GL account reconciliations, preparing journal entries, and working with an outside CPA firm to prepare income tax returns. Additionally, the candidate will assist in the analysis of current and potential investment opportunities – with an emphasis on real estate. The candidate must possess the ability to work in a fast paced, demanding, and dynamic environment. The candidate should possess a knowledge of GAAP and federal, state, and local financial, legal, and fiscal requirements. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment, prioritize work load in a timely manner, effectively manage multiple concurrent projects, and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff. Contributes to team efforts as needed.
