Staff Accountant

Job Summary:The Role:
We are seeking a staff Accountant for a division of the Live Nation music business. Position is a blend of transactional and entry-level Accounting. This person must be a self motivated individual with the ability to multi task.

Responsibilities:
Review and ensure accuracy and timeliness of recording receivables, cash receipts, and payable items

Complete bank account reconciliations, positive pay exceptions and cash related reviews.

Prepare and record journal entries

Perform month-end close tasks as defined by manager including GL analysis, balance sheet and P&L report reviews ensuring GAAP compliance.

Assist in SOX package preparation

Process and track fixed asset additions and deletions

Complete account reconciliation packages

Provide various monthly management reports and schedules

Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
College Degree with accounting/finance coursework and/or major preferred

2-3 years comparable work experience

Oracle experience a plus

Self-motivated individual who possesses a “roll up the sleeves attitude” and a “hands-on” style, as well as the aptitude to thrive in a fast-paced, results- oriented environment.
