Staff Accountant

Seeking a staff accountant to join our busy accounting department as our company continues to grow. Our company is a consumer health company that is in the process of building a portfolio of best-in-class brands through growth and acquisitions.

We are looking for the right person to join our office in Westbrook, Maine. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day operations of some of our newly acquired brands. This person will take full ownership of the day to day accounting and reporting.

Strong Excel required including the ability to use formulas and use advanced functions.

Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Account reconciliations

Bank reconciliations

Produce financial statements and financial reporting

Assist in the month end close for multiple entities.

Other projects as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have:

3-5 years of accounting experience

Knowledge of accounting software

Bachelor’s degree preferred
