Sr. Unity Developer

As a Sr. Unity 3D Developer at our company, you will be responsible for implementing platform functionality translating design ideas, concepts, identifying bottlenecks, and ensuring the quality of the finished product.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement platform functionality
  • Transform design specification into functional elements
  • Communicate with other team members and manage up to leadership
  • Establish effective strategy and development pipeline
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Ensure the best performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Identify process and application bottlenecks and bugs
  • Offer and implement solutions in a timely manner
  • Document code and functionality effectively
  • Develop strategies for versioning, patches, updates and target devices (OS)
  • App store submissions, management and patch sustainment strategies

    • Unity or Unity3D Developer requirements and qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience a Unity 3D Developer
  • Previous experience working as a Unity or Unity3D Developer
  • Excellent knowledge of Unity
  • Experience with scripting, textures, animation, GUI styles, and user session management
  • 5+ years of experience with 3D physics
  • 5+ years of experience with mobile development using Unity
  • 5+ years of experience in optimizing memory and space usage
  • 5+ years of experience with 3D
  • 5+ years of experience with shipped products
  • 5+ years of experience in implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Constantly learn and stay in touch with evolving development standards
  • Proficient knowledge of code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}}
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math or similar field
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player with great communication skills
  • Great time-management skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent attention to detail

    • Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

    Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
