This position provides expert on-site technical support for major enterprise vendor applications in order to keep the applications running as close to 7×24 as possible and as efficiently as possible. It also provides expert consulting services and performs technical tasks to install and maintain multiple production and non-production environments for fixes, enhancements and upgrades to vendor software.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or the equivalent thereof) in MIS, IS, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration with emphasis in information systems, or a related field (e.g. statistics, mathematics, physics) with 2 – 4 years related experience.

At least 4 years of application programming or scripting experience is required along with 2 years working with vendor products.

Must have working knowledge of operating systems, databases, scripting, client server, data communications and network technologies.

Must possess ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, provide front line support working with vendor support, work overtime and be on call when required.

Preferred requirements include:
2 plus years experience with applicable vendor software and a strong understanding of vendor software architecture or 3-tiered client server application.

4 plus years experience in the design, build, testing, and deployment of interfaces both realtime, TCP socketed and secure FTP batch.

Interface engine experience; Infor Cloverleaf / Axway Secure Transport a plus.

Solid understanding of data networking concepts, issues, and impact on interfaces.

Perl scripting, Java programming

Working with Windows 2008 Server R2; Linux experience a plus.

Solid understanding of Public Key Infrastructure Fundamentals (PKI).

TCL procedures script writing or similar language in AIX.

Subject matter expert level knowledge of FTP, SFTP, and HL7 message structure.

Customer and service orientation and mindset.

Experience with an automated file transfer software.

Solid understand of XML and HTML messaging structure.

Extensive experience with Windows security / shares.

Experience with SQL and MySQL
