Sr. SW Developer

The Company:
Solera is a leading provider of risk and asset management software and services to the automotive and property marketplace, including the global P&C insurance industry. Solera has software for the many different transactions of a car’s lifecycle. Our products help to improve the automotive purchase and repair experience.

The Position:
As a member of our software engineering team, the Sr. Software Engineer will implement, maintain, and document enterprise insurance software systems in accordance with established standards and processes.

Position 80s:
Responsible for wide range of software implementation functions, including development of new applications, analyzes and maintain current applications and processes, and making recommendations for improvement and innovation Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements to manageable and measurable tasks Responsible for analysis of current applications including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problems, and recommend solutions Mentor other software development team members Collaborate with team members and other groups in writing clear and concise functional, design, and implementation documentation Adhere to company development standards (coding standards, unit testing, integration testing, best practices)

Qualifications:
BS degree in Computer Science or related degree preferred 5+ years of complex programming concepts and desired languages and environments required Must have proven track record developing with Microsoft Visual Studio 2013/2015/2017 using the following .NET technologies: C#, ASP.NET MVC, AngularJs, ASP, Web API, HTML5, SASS, CSS3, TypeScript, Entity Framework, NuGet, JavaScript / jQuery, JSON, Relational Databases, NUnit, /MSTest/XUnit, Jasmine, AutoFac, and responsive web design Knowledge in Document Databases, Continuous Integration, Containers, PowerShell, .NET Core, MS Build, NodeJs, Angular 2, Bower, Gulp, and Microservices are a plus Excellent communication skills Ability to multi-task and work independently Excellent oral and written communication skills A team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources Ability to take strategic direction from management Insurance industry experience helpful, but not mandatory
