Sr. SQL BI Developer

At USAN, you will be part of a dedicated team working to provide custom contact center solutions from conception to release. You will work to design creative and robust solutions to streamline processes that keep our organization efficient and allow us to better care for our customers. Software Development at USAN happens in a mix of different environments. We use Linux for our media gateways and some of our billing system. We use Javascript for our front-end user interface development and applications that have a customer-facing web UI. We use C#/.Net for our stack development as well as SQL server for our database work. We give developers the opportunity and flexibility to utilize different languages, tools, and environments.

The Senior SQL Developer will design, develop, test, tune, implement, and support database objects, and the associated T-SQL scripts, using Microsoft SQL Server. You will be heavily involved in creating new complex and high-volume functionality, as well as maintaining existing large data sets, and optimizing the high-volume queries consuming that data. You will be responsible for the creation, optimization, and maintenance of the daily reporting functionality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science
• Excellent skills with T-SQL and MS SQL Server
• 7+ years of related experience, with a focus on large data sets, query optimizations, data integration, reporting, and analysis
• Ability to work with minimal direction, in a strong team environment
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex database administration/design/implementation problems
• Ability to work well within deadline-oriented development structure
• Experience with SSRS, BI, T SQL Performance Tuning, ETL, SSIS
• Exposure to C#, ASP.Net, XML, XSLT, SOAP, Perl, and/or Linux a plus
