Sr. Specialist I, BSC – Account to Report

Responsibility Description:

  • Responsible for financial reporting and analysis with a high level of visibility, up to and including Senior Leadership
  • Ensures accuracy and integrity of information
  • Responsible for activities within routine accounting processes: month-end close, reporting and analysis, and budgets
  • Leads projects, includes defining/establishing new processes, system requirements/functionality, resource management, and implementation
  • Assist in coordinating the bottom up detailed budget across the organization ensuring the delivery of approved targets by CEO and Board
  • Provide Business Functions analytical support (modeling) during budget build-up to meet objectives and milestones
  • Achievement of Service Level Agreement to clients
  • Ensure internal and external client satisfaction by delivering results
  • Ensure all processes comply with internal/external controls, standards, and regulations

Job Qualifications

Requirement Description:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business required, Finance or Accounting preferred
  • Certification or advanced degree preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service mindset and strong team orientation
  • 4+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance role required
  • Thorough understanding of financial processes, including financial statements, general accounting and CPG industry
  • Proven organizational and leadership skills; demonstrated ability to prioritize work, delegate responsibilities, and manage process activities
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; excellent oral and written communication skills required
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office required
  • Proficiency with Business Objects or other SQL query type software preferred
  • SAP or other ERP system, understands impacts of interfaces with legacy systems preferred
  • High sense of urgency and ability to work with minimal direct supervision
