Sr. Software Developer

We are looking for an Sr. developer who can imagine, design and develop custom software solutions for companies across many industries including financial services, insurance, healthcare and public sector. We love individuals with entrepreneurial passion who are interested in bringing ideas to market.

What you’ll do at Insight/BlueMetal:

• You will need to have experience with high velocity product development process that applies Lean methodology.
• You will know service oriented patterns and practices and cloud platform capabilities for the design and development of modern Software as a Service solutions.
• You will work with our clients that are interested in transforming their business through modern Software as a Service offerings and have engaged BlueMetal to deliver on that vision.

What you’ll need to join Insight/BlueMetal:

• 5+ years of experience working with development within the Microsoft technology’s and an excellent grasp of some of following technologies:
• Lean Engineering, Agile, Scrum, DevOps
• Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS
• Azure or PowerShell Classic/ARM,
• Docker, CoreOS, LXD, Joynet
• Angular JS
• React JS
• Hyper-V, VMware
• SQL Database, DocumentDb, Mongo DB, RDS, Hadoop, Machine Learning
• C#, PowerShell, JavaScript, Java, Ruby, Python
• .NET, J2EE, Spring, Struts
• Experience in the design and development of cloud-native distributed applications that leverage microservice architecture, ReST APIs, API Gateways, relational and NoSQL stores and loosely coupled messaging

• Experience in the design and implementation of Internet of Things solutions that leverage high volume telemetry ingestion, stream analytics and data visualization
• Experience in the design and implementation of bog data analytics that leverage Hadoop and predictive analytics systems
