Position Title: Sr. Revenue Analyst
Location: Milpitas, CA

The Role:

We are looking for a Sr Revenue Analyst for the Finance team.

Responsibilities:
  • Ability to critically evaluate customer requests and provide solutions in coordination with sales, legal , and all other cross-functional stakeholders to successfully close sales opportunities
  • Review customer contracts and purchase orders to ensure proper bookings and revenue recognition in accordance with accounting guidance and FireEye’s company policies.
  • Prepare significant deal review packages and checklists documenting revenue recognition conclusions for review by management.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts between multiple teams (Revenue, Accounts Receivables, Order Management, and Fulfillment) to ensure proper documentation exists for compliance with company business policies and revenue recognition standards.
  • Assist with quarterly and annual internal/external audit and SOX requests
  • Participate in ad hoc projects as needed
Requirements:
  • 4-5 years of experience in revenue and accounting areas
  • BS in Accounting or Finance
  • Understanding of ASC 606, and Sarbanes-Oxley 404
  • Experience with Oracle R12, and Salesforce and Revpro (or other revenue accounting software)
  • Strong MS Excel skills highly desirable
