Sr Project Engineer

The
COS Project Engineer is responsible to plan, execute, monitor and control any projects
oriented to transform current production cells following the strategic (COS) Cell
Operating System. The Project Engineer oversees the product improvements for safety,
quality, compliance and productivity in adherence to the company standards, supplier
contract requirements, and to ensure timely completion. This resource must define the key project
activities, their anticipated sequence and desired outcomes without affecting
the service level. The Project Engineer
is also responsible for routine deliverables including, but not limited to: regular
progress reporting, updated schedules, meeting minutes and project
correspondence records. The Project Engineer will use projects tools to
estimate the level of effort for individual work tasks as to roll up these
tasks into an overall project budget. Through this estimate the Project
Engineer will manage the project activities as needed to keep the project
within the budget limits. The Project Engineer is responsible for assuring that
all internal project activities are conducted in adherence to the appropriate
procedures. He must ensure that each member of the project team is charged with
implementing quality assurance checks and reviews on the project tasks
completed under their direction.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education
required/ preferred:

Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial, or
Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

0-4 years of plant manufacturing, or engineering experience, that
includes a demonstrated ability to develop, evaluate or execute process
improvement projects.

Preferred
Skills/Qualifications:

·
Excellent communicator in both, English and
Spanish, and must have the writing abilities as well.

· Logic controllers programming
experience a plus (PLCs, servos, HMIs, etc.).

· Or machine mechanical
design experience – Pro/E, Knowledge of Project management software.
