Sr. Java Developer – Angular JS, Spring, SQL, DB2

Job Description:

Note: Need strong combination of front-end + backend

• Strong JAVA Backend developer.

• Strong in Spring Framework

• UI is important – Angular JS

• Strong in SQL. Any DB is fine. DB2 will be preferred

• Flex is good to have.

• Experience in the following:

• JAVA, J2EE, EJB, JavaBeans, JavaScript ES6, Servlets, JDBC, Hibernate.

• Spring Framework 4, Spring Boot 1.4, JDBC template, Spring REST

• IBM RAD, Eclipse

• HTML 5, CSS 3, Angular

• Micro services architecture understanding

• WebSphere, WSAD, MQ Series

• DB2, strong SQL

• FTP/SFTP

• Big data is a strong plus

• Adobe Flex is a plus

• UNIX (AIX), UNIX Scripting is a plus

• COBOL is a plus

• Maven, Gradle is a plus

Other skills:

· Experience in financial services or captive auto finance companies is a strong plus

· Experience in scorecard/dashboard is a strong plus

· Ability to integrate with large teams, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills

· Application development experience in large scale enterprise environments is essential

· Problem-solving skills and critical thinking are essential to effectively conduct the required tasks.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking

· Self-motivated and able to work autonomously when necessary

Intermediate to expert knowledge required in the following areas:

· System development lifecycle

· System development processes and method

· Testing methods, including unit and integration testing (JUnit, JMock)

· Utilization of software configuration management tools

· Code deployment and code versioning tools
