Sr. Java Developer

We are looking for a full life-cycle Java Web Application Developer . This is a great project opportunity to work with very skilled individuals while helping them build end to end applications. The ideal candidate will have proven development skills in front­-end, middle-­tier and database development. The position will develop Development platforms and software tools. This is a great long-term client of ours where all of our candidates are passionate about the work they do for them.

The identified candidate will be expected to work with the following:

Servers: Red Hat Linux servers

Databases: Oracle 11+

Data Modeling: TOAD, SQL Developer and Visual Paradigm.

Workstation Operating Systems: Windows 7+, MAC OS, and Red Hat Linux.

Workstation/Client Products: text editor, Word, Excel, Access, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe PDF writer, Adobe Distiller, vi text editor, Netscape browser, I E, Firefox , Chrome browsers, and Visio.

Software Development: TOAD, SQL*Plus, SQL Dev, JDeveloper, Eclipse.

Procedural Coding: Spring MVC, Java, J2EE, Python, PL/SQL, SQL, Angular JS, Ext JS, jQuery, and Linux shell scripting,

Internet Dev products: Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle HTTP servers, Spring MVC Framework.

Off-the-Shelf Packages: Adobe Photoshop and Oracle Application Express.

Qualifications:
Experience with investigating and analysis of business requirements.

Proven development skills in front-­end, middle­-tier and database development.

Solid experience developing RESTful or SOAP web services.

Experience with Oracle DB, PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle development tools.

Solid experience developing internet web apps using Java, Spring MVC framework, HTML5, CSS, XML, JSON, Bootstrap, AngularJS, jQuery, Ext JS plus other JavaScript frameworks.

Experience in planning, designing, developing and testing complex business applications using advanced computer techniques and languages.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
