Sr. Java Developer

JOB DUTIES: Analyze user requirements, design, develop, maintain and test software applications. Specific duties include: Define site objectives by analyzing user requirements. Envision system features and functionality. Design and develop user interfaces to internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle. Determine design methodologies and tool sets. Design and conduct tests. Recommend system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives. Integrate applications by designing database architecture and server scripting. Study and establish connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers. Create multimedia applications by using authoring tools. Complete applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities. Troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms. Support users by developing documentation and assistance tools. Research new internet/intranet technologies and software products. Work with Java, SOA, SOAP Web Services, XML, XSLT, XPath, RTC, JAXB, JSF, JMS, Apache POI, Eclipse and Scrum.

JOB REQUIREMENT: Master’s degree or its foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field plus 2 years of experience. In lieu of the above, we will also accept a Bachelor’s degree or its foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience. We will also accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience. Experience to include working Java, SOA, SOAP Web Services, XML, XSLT, XPath, RTC, JAXB, JSF, JMS, Apache POI, Eclipse and Scrum. HOURS: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. JOB LOCATION: 950 Scales Road, Suite 104, Suwanee, GA 30024.
