Job Description :

Job Title: Sr Application Developer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Contribute to architectural/design feasibility discussions and prototyping
Participate in cross-functional development and integration projects requiring interaction with the full DevOps team (PMO, infrastructure, test engineers) and the project sponsor/end users
Design, analyze, develop, debug, document, and write quality code to satisfy unit tests and business requirements for large, complex projects, within project scope
Serve as a mentor less experienced team members and perform code reviews
Participate in discussions and/or meetings to review our standard development and testing procedures and practices as a part of continuous improvement
Keep abreast with the latest application development and open source technologies, share knowledge with the team and propose adoption of new technology where applicable and feasible
Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications: Experience, Competencies and Education

3+ years of Java development experience required
2+ years in Spring development or dependency injection is preferred
Experience in software development methodologies e.g., Agile, SCRUM, KANBAN
Experience in front end technologies (Angular, Bootstrap, Gulp, Bower, NPM)
Experience in developing RESTFul web services in a micro-services architecture
Experience in Maven dependency management and build profiles
Experience with Git style SCM, bug tracking, and build tools
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem solving skills
Experience working in an agile development team environment
Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
Excellent written and verbal communications skills – ability to interface with management and peers, specific strength in influencing decision makers and managing expectations
