Sr. ESB Developer – Production Support, Vice President

Job Summary
Responsible for leading a team of staff for developing and deploying complex integrated solutions aimed at modernizing, consolidating and coordinating the independently designed applications within and across the enterprises of core systems. Leads the team that consults with internal business clients to offer solutions using best software and engineering practices. Involved in modeling information sources, flows and critical paths, as well as understanding how information is turned into knowledge and the relationship of knowledge and how it supports and enables key business processes. Facilitates the development of supporting knowledge architecture and standards. Works with operations staff to define an operational framework that defines, develops and implements delivery systems, systems management, policies and security frameworks to ensure delivery of knowledge and information to appropriate groups.


Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibility to provide ESB production support, issue resolution and Bug fixing.
  • Support activities related to post production failure such as incident management, problem management.
  • Development operational support such as environment management, resource management, produces various reports.
  • Support Software Patch management.
  • Required to work outside 9-6 PM office hours
  • Maintain and enhance production support tools set for the purpose of error free, streamlined and effective production support with purpose to effectively manage potential outages and reduce their impact to the business
  • Assist in maintenance of other system supporting documentation and registries such as SAP, SRE, GSI.
  • Assist in Third Party Vendor Management, SW/HW Sourcing activities.
  • Work with team to manage and update configuration tools.
  • Provide testing support for development
  • Provide input into design and development of new or enhancement of existing interfaces to ensure their maintainability from the perspective of production support.
  • Develop solutions using IBM WebSphere Message Broker, IBM WebSphere MQ, and Workflow.
  • Familiarity with business message formats such as SWIFT, EDI, ACH, BAI, ISO 20022 etc.
  • Programming experience with industry standard programming languages and environments (Java, C, C++, shell scripting etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Programming knowledge of RDBMS

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in S. T. E. M. (6-8 years) Any of core tool set WMB/IIB middleware tool or equivalent experience
  • (2 years) working experiences on WTX/ITX
  • Experience with incident management, troubleshooting, problem management
  • Familiarity with industry formats such as SWIFT, EDI, BAI, ACH etc.
  • Good communication skills
  • Familiarity with MQ APIs.
  • Familiarity with Web Services.
  • Fair programming experience with industry standard programming languages and environments and scripting languages (Java, shell scripting, PERL scripting etc.).
  • Good analytical skills;
  • Knowledge of RDBMS concepts as well as hands-on experience in using SQL for data retrieval and analysis. .
  • Knowledge of operating systems including Unix, LINUX and Windows
