Emcee Design is seeking a highly creative, motivated, and dynamic senior designer to assist in the creative effort for a variety of client and project types.

Our projects run the gamut from brand identities, print, digital, mobile, packaging, POP/POS, and advertising. A level of experience across most of these project types is desirable.

Candidate must love design, typography, color theory, and composition. In addition, the candidate must exhibit the ability to create stunning visuals for both print and digital media. Organized, responsible and self-motivated is a must as well.

The candidate will work closely with art directors, creative directors, copywriters, and web developers, to translate marketing and brand strategies into comps that render beautifully in print and code. This individual must be able to work well in a team environment and be able to take creative direction.

Job Responsibilities :
Conducting conceptual explorations, including drawings, sketching, research and thumbnails

Typography and layout creation, as well as exceptional brand identity development

Have the ability to manage multiple projects and remain flexible through multiple revisions while keeping a keen attention to detail

Possess deep understanding of multimedia design and experience designing for both print and digital

Excellent technical skills, including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign

Design Requirements :
Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent education

8-10 years of design experience with at least 6 yrs of brand/design or agency experience

Knowledge of art materials, fabrication techniques, printing process and press runs

Strong conceptual skills and strategic mindset

Team player

Ability to take creative direction

Ability to work independently while handling multiple projects concurrently

Ability to articulate current design trends and understand what makes them compelling

Online experience including web layout, xml, and html skills a plus
