Sr. Business Analyst

The purpose of the Commercial Business Analytics team is to act as the corporate Commercial lead for planning, forecasting, target setting, reporting, performance and ongoing business routines, as well as stewardship of central and field analytics and insight generation. In this role, you will be accountable for creating value by contributing to and helping to coordinate these processes and driving their transparency and coordination across markets, field sales teams and distributors. In addition, a pivotal responsibility will be to drive standardization of analytics, customer engagement routines and performance reviews across the business via collaboration within the Commercial Business Analytics team.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

Drive results & excellence in execution

Execution of commercial planning and forecasting processes

Execution of corporate commercial performance process and communications

Ownership of standardized key Commercial routines (Performance Reviews, Risk/Opportunity Reviews, Distributor QBRs, S&OP input, forecasting, etc.)

Activation of standardized commercial reporting and performance communications; visibility and connectivity to Bacardi financial reporting processes

Utilization of standardized conventional tools for CBU implementation (e.g., distribution trackers, high Net Sales Value opportunity trackers, innovation trackers)

Control states data management and analysis

Contribution to/engagement with Corporate Analytics efforts

Collaboration with Customer Marketing, Operations and Finance colleagues as needed to manage in-year gap planning, one-off initiatives and other ad hoc market and division needs Create a winning team

Align all employees behind the targets and create a passion for winning in the company

Performance: Achieve Net Sales Value (NSV) growth targets vs. budget and NSV per case target ahead of plan

Critical experiences for success

To be successful in this role you will have/be:
Well-developed strategic analytical skills and database management skills to develop and implement sales analytical databases, reports and analytics

Be able to multi-task with excellent time management skills and willing to work in a challenging and fast paced environment

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in order to effectively interact with various functions across the organization

Must possess professional maturity and be comfortable with interacting with higher levels of management to communicate facts in a simple and understandable manner including presenting their opinions and ideas

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, continuously changing and often ambiguous environment

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including: macros, pivot tables, logic functions, lookup functions, and data normalization & manipulation

Excellent PowerPoint skills, preferred

Working knowledge of VBA Programming, preferred

The following experiences are preferred: • 1-3+ years experience in an Analytics role • 1-3+ years experience in the Spirits or broader beverage alcohol industry • Exposure to and/or prior experience engaging with commercial/field sales organizations • Experience with planning/reporting/forecasting processes and tools • Background working with industry data sources and tools (e.g., NABCA, Nielsen, DISCUS) • Exposure to/experience with more sophisticated BI and functional engagement tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlikview, Sharepoint), preferred

Education: • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or other quantitative methods preferred
