SQL Server Administrator/Developer

As the primary SQL Server Admin/Developer you will be part of a dynamic team with a mission to deliver web services that provide authorized consumers access to enterprise data. You will be working with the team analyzing and normalizing data, modeling and creating data structures, constructing SSIS packages to import data, scheduling, running and monitoring SSIS packages and assisting in the development of an enterprise schema.
The SQL Server Analyst/Developer responsibilities include:
* Modeling, documenting, creating and scripting specified logical schemas into physical schemas for all databases on NIPR and SIPR.
* Administration, configuration, monitoring and tuning of all databases.
* Design, and implement SSIS scripts for internal and external data sources.
* Sustainment of existing SSIS scripts.
* Configuration management of all changes between development, test and production databases.
* Generate uptime reports as required.
* Providing estimates for new capabilities.
* Providing Tier 3 support as required.
* Perform data analysis and data modeling as required to support a data driven Service Oriented Environment.
* Employ best practices for design, implementation and data security.
* Work closely with business users across the organization to identify needs and solutions.
Technical skills and experience required for this position will include:
* Significant experience designing and managing databases.
* Demonstrated experience modeling and normalizing data.
* Solid understanding of T-SQL,Stored Procedures and SQL design principles (MS-SQL 2012/2016).
* Significant experience using SSIS/SSRS.
* .Net development experience preferred but not required (C#, MVC, WCF etc.).
* Self-Directed: Must be able to take high-level requests and translate them into actionable, efficient work tasks.
* Must be a motivated self-starter with a stellar work ethic and a strong sense of urgency.

* Teamwork: Must be a good team player; a “people person”. Must be willing to provide selfless help to other team members and the customer.

* Get it factor: Ability to seek knowledge and understand.

Education
Bachelors Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

Qualifications
2-5 years of related database analysis and/or administration experience.

DOD 8570 IAT Level-2 Certification (Security Plus CE)…is required.
An active DoD secret security clearance is ….is required
