As a SQL ETL Developer you will provide advanced database tools to provide specialized data analysis. You will organize, sort and filter data in order to distinguish patterns and recognize trends. The SQL ETL Developer will develop and maintain data preparation and validation routines to support data mining and have experience in creating complex data mining algorithms. You will also select, recommend and apply appropriate analytic and statistical methodologies and techniques to execute against an analysis plan or research objectives.

This position will require strong analytical skills and intermediate SQL scripting to include building stored procedures, trouble shoot existing code and experience with ETL.

This is a work from home position. The core hours for this role will be M-F 9 am – 4 pm EST (this is a full time position).

Primary Responsibilities:
Create, change and execute SQL Server Integration Packages

Maintain fee sources used to build fee schedules

Provide support in SQL script writing and auditing

Organizes sorts and filters data in order to distinguish patterns and recognize trends

Develops and maintains data preparation and validation routines to support data mining and has experience in creating complex data mining algorithms

Use advanced statistical and inferential analysis programs to provide specialized data analysis

Selects, recommends and applies appropriate analytic and statistical methodologies and techniques to execute against an analysis plan or research objectives

Evaluates new analytics tools and methodologies for possible deployment

Creates data warehouses/marts and/or develops data mining analyses to support business decisions

Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses

Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks

Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues

Create indexes to increase performance of database

Gather business requirements from users to determine source information

Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience building SQL server ETL packages

2+ years of Data Reporting/Analysis experience with SQL Server

2+ years of SQL Server programming experience

2+ years of experience Writing a Stored Procedure

2+ years of experience with SSIS/SSRS Data Loading/Reporting experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree

Healthcare Industry experience

Experience with Data Warehouses and/or Data Marts

Experience with Oracle
