Solutions Engineer Advisor Senior will work as part of the test data management team to analyze, create and maintain tools and processes for test data management, including automation and standardization; maintain industry knowledge on industry tools and enterprise guidelines, including DB2 and COBOL mainframe technologies; perform proof of concepts and make recommendations; lead and implement installations; deliver application technology solutions and data information planning efforts for the healthcare insurance domain; program on specific application subsets of the company’s application portfolio; participate in all phases of the SDLC, including Waterfall and Agile development methodologies; perform technical design reviews and code reviews using MVC and C# and ASP.net coding languages; write stored procedures and optimize SQL queries on Oracle and SQL Server; ensure unit tests and systems testing are completed and meet test plan requirements; ensure systems are implemented according to plan; and lead vendor/software evaluations and analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and 7 years of full SDLC experience. Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section unless noted): web application development using C#, ASP.NET 4.0, MVC 5, Entity framework, JQuery and WCF; writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers and cursors; healthcare insurance domain (5+ years); DTS/SSIS development and configuration; and Waterfall and Agile software development methodologies.
