Software quality Intern

The selected candidate will join our Quality Engineering team where they will develop and execute a wide range of tests to ensure the quality of our SSD Firmware Test Automation solutions. These mission-critical solutions play a key role in bringing Intel’s leading-edge Solid State Drive and memory technologies to market with superior quality.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Contribute to the creation of detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load/performance, system, and user acceptance testing
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Assist in coordinating the release of new features and systems
• Assist in the development of automation tests scripts for the new features implemented

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
•

Minimum 3 months of experience in the following:

• Software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Troubleshooting
• Python programming language

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of black box testing
• Basic knowledge and experience using the Linux operating system
