Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer Intern to work in the Houston, Texas office. Roles/Responsibilities include: Software development and maintenance, including enhancing, troubleshooting and debugging software programs. Lab maintenance tasks will also be assigned such as reconfiguring networking, storage, and server configurations for software development and developer testing projects. Special projects may be assigned to support the department software engineering and developer testing responsibilities, as well as quality initiatives. Education and Experience Required: Currently attending a 4-year university, majoring in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related field. Development skills in Linux and Windows environments with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Python, and C++ programming experience. Software debugging experience Preference for academic standing of a junior or higher.
