Group/Division

Software Quality Engineering (SQE) is a functional organization in KLA-Tenor’s GPG group which serves all wafer inspection products in testing the products and qualifying to release the differentiated products to help our customers. Current position is for LS (Laser scanning) and SWIFT (Simultaneous Wafer Inspection at Fast Throughput) product division.

LS-SWIFT division has the mission to provide cost-effective solutions for high-sampling wafer inspection applications. We effectively partner with field support teams and customers to lower overall fab costs by supplying world-leading high-throughput inspection, metrology and review systems. Our comprehensive product portfolio includes: all-wafer-surface (front side, backside, and edge) macro inspection, standalone high-sampling inspection, and standalone edge inspection and metrology tools that are deployed across several advanced wafer fabs for a large number of applications.

Responsibilities

This position is for a DevOps/SCM, software installation and release engineer. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Install support to package entire software or at component level for deployment including patch creation
• Automate builds, develop and Integrate new tools to support continuous integration and reporting across projects
• Develop and maintain well architected build scripts to automate builds (Use Jenkins)
• Manage Rational Team Concert – RTC (and/or Clear Case) for a team of 30+ software developers
• Monitor and support daily Build cycles and timely release of Hotfix packages
• Manage build environment, and software releases for various product branches on a daily, weekly, and scheduled basis
• Define, maintain and manage the software configuration management and deployment processes for all products in the Division

Preferred Qualifications

Experience: Required

• Software Application packaging experience using Installshield, Install Anywhere or similar tools
• Working experience with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins or Hudson
• Knowledge of tools like static code analysis (e.g. Sonar, Coverity), code review, etc. and how to integrate with code base
• Work experience in source control management software like Rational Team Concert (RTC) or similar
• Strong scripting language experience in one or more – Perl, shell, python or VB script
• Working knowledge of Build Releases in various languages, like C/C++/C#, Java, in continuous integration environment
• Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools to support dev ops role
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s Level Degree OR Bachelor’s Level Degree.
