Job Description:

Harris Corporation is looking for a motivated Software Engineer to support the development of Software Defined Radio (SDR) and Electronic Countermeasure (ECM) products used to protect soldiers and diplomats across the globe.

Work with industry professionals through the complete software development process including requirements generation, architecture and design, implementation, and system integration and validation.

• Use industry standard tools and agile development processes
• Communicate across engineering disciplines
• Work independently
• Analyze problems and recommending solutions
• Debug at the hardware/software interface
• Support system integration, verification and validation activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with at least 1 year of experience.
• At least 1 year of experience with C/C++ proficiency
• Object Oriented application development
• This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a security clearance. In order to obtain a clearance, you need to be a US Citizen and show proof of citizenship

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Embedded Linux experience
• Linux Driver Development
• Python
• Yocto
• Boot Loaders
• Cross Compilers
• Xilinx Zynq / Vivado SDK
• Comfortable with lab equipment (Oscilloscopes / Spec-A / Sig-Gen)
