Software Development Engineer in Test

In 2006, Xpanxion first opened its doors in Nebraska. Seven years later, we expanded our office into Lincoln, and opened an office in the Haymarket area. This office quickly became a center of technical expertise. We leveraged the skills from the greater Lincoln area to build our most motivated and efficient software teams.

We’re currently looking to add a Software Development Engineer in Test to our team.

Collaborate with developers, quality assurance analysts, and other stakeholders on software projects

Design and develop automated testing scripts for applications using automation tools

Implement and maintain automated testing scripts

Execute test scripts while tracking results

Create defect status reports and validate bug fixes

Requirements can vary but may include:
Experience with Java or C#/.NET development

Working knowledge of SQL

Knowledge of SDLC

Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills

Previous experience with Visual Studio, Selenium, Quick Test Pro, Sahi, or Test Complete is a plus

Previous testing experience a plus

Ability to troubleshoot complex problems and debug software issues

Bachelor degree in IT related field is a plus
