Software Development Engineer

Our development team is a small and agile team responsible for building and maintaining the business applications, integrations, web services and other technologies that our company provides. We have a constant focus on product quality and on delivering new features that have a direct impact on the business. We aim to use the best tools available, provide regular releases, and we are working towards rebuilding our QA process and development processes to meet those goals.We are hiring new team members and looking for talented software developers with experience using current tools and modern processes.

As a developer you will be responsible for:

Developing and maintaining products and new product features
Working with stakeholders to determine and manage product requirements
Work alone or within small scrum teams to share and complete complex problems
Document code and activities to department guidelines.
Interact with QA staff and tech support staff
Contribute to team efforts and department goals
Speak up / join in / interact

We are looking for the following skills:

3+ years of experience with C#, and the .NET Framework
Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs
Database development and experience with SQL/NoSQL are a must.

Azure database or other scalable cloud data technology Experience is a plus. * Full stack web development experience building and running production web sites
Comprehensive experience using Git/GitHub
Experience with current Microsoft Devops platforms (VSTS, Visual studio online)
Experience with Microsoft Azure or similar cloud services
Experience with popular JavaScript libraries is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Passion, creativity, and attention to detail, and the ability to deliver.
Legacy database experience is a plus (xbase, dbase, foxpro)
