Job Summary

This position is responsible for supporting production, ongoing development, upgrades and enhancements for the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (CS), Human Capital Management (HCM) and Financial Management (FMS) systems. Responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, debugging and documenting all phases of application development. In collaboration with functional business analysts and PMO office, develops new functionality to meet business requirements and enhances existing customizations and applications.

Essential Functions

40% – Modifies and adapts existing code and create new programs using standard procedures and techniques, including testing and documentation

40% – Troubleshoots, investigates, analyzes and solves PeopleSoft software problems as identified by functional team and end users

10% – Performs technical modifications required for regular application patches and tools upgrades

10% – Works with third-party vendors and Oracle Services to implement external integrations

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or related field and two years of experience in area directly related to assignment.

Any combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities

Desired Qualifications

1. Two (2) or more years’ experience using the PeopleSoft Application Designer toolset (App Engine, Integration Broker, Data Mover, Component Interface, People Code, Page/Component)

2. Two (2) or more years’ experience troubleshooting and testing Oracle/PeopleSoft ERPs (HCM/FMS/CS)

3. Two (2) or more years’ experience using SQL to access and manipulate data stored in a relational database (Oracle, SQL Server)

4. One (1) or more years’ experience with creating application program documentation, including technical design specifications

5. PeopleSoft Cobol experience and/or PeopleSoft Fluid Development

6. Experience with Hyperion Budgeting with Integration to FMS

7. Experience with translating functional requirements into technical design
