Job Type: Part-Time Internship – 10-15 hours a week

Rate: $10 an hour

YOUR ROLE

The Software Developer Intern will be motivated, organized, and energetic. You will be helping with a variety of data processing tasks involving SQL, Excel, and large-scale C# applications. This will be strong hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment where you will quickly learn valuable skills you can take anywhere. There is also potential to help with updating some of our in-house hosted MVC based web applications. You will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of marketing and general software development, not to mention having some fun along the way!

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• A willingness to learn!
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and Word
• Basic understanding of relational database concepts and practices
• Basic understanding of a professional level programming language
• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
• Basic understanding of server administration and maintenance
• Strong attention to detail, and quality over quantity
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong time management skills enabling self to work on multiple tasks
• Ability to work hard, take direction and have fun

BONUS SKILLS:

• Experience in any of the following:
• T-SQL
• C#
• Html
• CSS
• Bootstrap
• JavaScript
• .NET Framework
• MVC 3,4,5
• Angular
• Typescript
• Experience with the Agile process
• Experience with code managed under some form of source control, such as GIT or TFS
• Experience with anything closely related to Microsoft Reporting Services or Power BI
• A unique and valuable skill our current developers do not possess!

The ideal candidate should be a recent graduate or currently be enrolled with an accredited University. Focus of study should include one or more of the following, Computer Science, Programming, Database, Networking, Security, or related programs.
