Software Developer In Test - Lumedic

Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Software Developer In Test to our location in Seattle, WA.

We are seeking a SDET to join our dynamic team in downtown Seattle. The SDET will be responsible for supporting quality in the engineering process as they create, maintain and execute test cases for manual and automated testing of our products. The SDET has experience in software development, debugging, troubleshooting with a high technical acumen in various disciplines. This role works through complex tests and test frameworks, tools design, development and white box testing, and reviews code changes for supporting test strategy across our products. Qualified candidates should possess an ability to learn quickly, wear multiple hats/roles, be a gatekeeper for quality processes, and build automation frameworks.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

Conduct technical analysis of Lumedic Applications and formulate a plan for Quality and Release to Production including manual, automation, load, stage testing, etc.

Build test frameworks and expand existing automation in a strategic manner to ensure Regression Testing, results reporting and give assurance of Quality by skillfully communicating progress and areas of focus.

Support feature development by expanding testcase development and black box white box testing when necessary.

Work closely with customer support, product support, business units, and software development product teams. Helps to field questions, take requests, and investigate problems related to our software products; troubleshoot, narrow, and determine root cause of problems.

Performs exploratory testing to find software defects. Collaborates with development in the testing of products to ensure instrumentation is in place allowing for automation and to analyze the testability of the software. Participate in code coverage/test coverage analysis.

Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications for this position include

Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent.

5 years relevant experience with working knowledge of automated testing tools.

Familiarity with JUnit or TestNg, Azure, Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, TeamCity or similar CI/CD platform.

Healthcare Industry knowledge.

Experience with scripting languages.
